Is this bunk bed convertible into two separate beds?
Technically yes, is possible to disassemble the bunk bed into two beds. However, the supplier (Donco) notes that they don't encourage it because the safety testing was done with the beds assembled (they can't promote any alteration to the original design due to safety requirements).

Very pleased with my purchase. We were looking for a playground that would last a long time and remain interesting to our kids for many years. This is a bit more expensive than the standard mass-produced playground, but SOOO much better quality. This thing will last forever! The entire process went smoothly from questions before purchase to ordering to shipping faster than expected to delivery. More of the playground was pre-assembled than I expected and was packed very well. I was able to build the entire thing in 1 day with only 1 other person helping for a couple hours. Post-purchase customer service was also great. There were no missing pieces, but I did have a slight gap at one end of the bridge when built. I asked if one more log could be sent to fill the gap, and they sent it free of charge right away.
Have 3 of them now.. perfectly designed- real redwood. Will last 50 yrs. Took about 35 min to put together- 45 min to seal it. Did two coats, came out great.
