So does the mattress have a waterproof cover? Because dry clean every time it gets messy seems excessive. Also which other brand of mattress are compatible ?

The mattress itself does not come with a waterproof cover; however, we do offer a mattress cover designed specifically for the Kumi to help protect it.
For a proper and safe fit, only our Kumi mattress is compatible with the Kumi crib. Unfortunately, other mattress brands are not compatible.

I ordered the Cinnamon futon bunk bed in Natural. It was easy to assemble, it is very sturdy and the finish is beautiful. My Grandkids love it and the futon opens and closes easily. Ordering from Monkey Bunks was flawless, they are very responsive to questions and the delivery was right on time. A great product!
