The wood in this product has been certified by the Forest Stewardship Council to be from a responsibly managed forest source.

FSC is the gold standard in forest certification, it is the only system supported by groups such as WWF, Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Natural Resources Defense Council and National Wildlife Federation.

Additionally, this product uses low-VOC finishes. This product does still contain a California Prop 65 Warning due to potential exposure to sawdust.
