  • How much is the mattress

    For a top bunk, the ideal mattress thickness is 6 inches and no more than 7 inches. Any taller will compromise safety as the mattress will be too high for the guardrails to be protective. For the bottom bunk, we'd recommend a matching mattress but of course, you can also get a thicker one as there are no guardrails anyway. Note: You do not need a box spring for this bed at all because slats are included.
